Revenge of the Fallen is an action-packed adrenaline rush that doesn't stop until your adrenaline glands are squeezed dry and begging for sweet mercy. And even though there's so much shit going on, there's a lot that's lost in that. You can't savor the slower scenes because there AREN'T any slower scenes. Not to say the action wasn't fantastic...but it wasn't complete.
You all remember the first movie? My friends left the theater after Revenge wanting to see the first one again because they said it was better. I thought about what it was exactly that made it
better and I realized. The robots were NEW. They were still this exotic and fascinating race from the outer reaches of time and space that we were just beginning to understand. It was almost...magical. Sam was more than awed by the sight of them, and when a character feels something that strongly, the audience will feel it too. And all of that choral music chanting in the background really cranked that up another seven notches. Not to mention there were slow scenes with dialogue with the Autobots.

Which do you like better? I think there's good and bad in both really...Prime was just Wicked Beyond Belief in the second.
Like, if you can remember the scene when he was getting up after the Fallen pushed him down...there was this moment where he lifted his head and looked out in the distance...It gave me chills. I don't know why but he was just...PERFECT in that moment. O_o;
Despite the ramblings of a fangirl...I do wonder if you think so too?

Me? Sarcastic?
Of course not!
I'm much to ditzy to grasp the subtleties of mockery.
